Fall Prevention: Plan, Provide, Train!
Fall Prevention: Plan, Provide, Train!
In 2010, there were 264 fall fatalities out of 774 total fatalities in construction—which could have been preventable. Part of OSHA’s mission is to raise awareness among workers and employees about the dangers of falls from ladders, scaffolds and roofs. To help spread the education, OSHA has partnered with the construction sector of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA). Their Plan. Provide. Train. campaign provides you with helpful resources, such as videos, posters and fact sheets.
